Pretend you are a first year physical education teacher in a small rural elementary school in Mississippi. Based on your reading, thinking, and knowledge of physical education quality components, how would you go about making sure that your physical education program endorsed those curriculum practices? How would your students, parents, and administrators feel confident that what you were doing as a teacher was reflected in quality? What would you need to do to convince all your constituencies (students, parents, and administrators) that their program is of high quality? You must incorporate all eight quality components plus the NASPE standards in your response.
