Writing
Review your classmates’ posts and respond to at least two of your peers. Consider suggesting additional ways your classmate can self-regulate his/her Learning Patterns to achieve academic success. Each response should be a minimum of 50 words.
Since the start of this class, I believe I have learned a great deal about myself. Learning about the kind of learner I am has me using my confluence level even more as in seeing things and people differently. At first taking the LLC assessment in week one I was puzzled by the results showing the confluence pattern as needed. In week two I had difficulty doing the confluence area on the personal learning profile because I could not really understand how I used the confluence pattern at all. This week has made a tremendous difference for me as I can see the use of all my learning patterns. Learning my personal style of learning thus far I believe will have a huge impact on not only the way I view others and the world around me but also in my learning experiences.
Identify a situation where you actually did use the chosen Pattern with more intention in this class and explain how you actually did forge, intensify, or tether to be successful.
I chose sequence, this week the directions were very clear and provided samples which I believe gave myself more time to do my work neatly from beginning to end. However I learned this week while reading the chapter that I need to tether from using the sequence pattern so much and intensify the confluence pattern more. I use my sequence and precision some much when doing assignments when writing I tend to get lost in the moment of thought and overdo it or lose sight of the original question. I believe using the other patterns like precision it can help with explaining things to get a clearer message out. I also never realized that technical reasoning consisted of giving real life examples and being able to cut down on what you are writing to make clear points. While learning this I am able to intensify using the technical reasoning pattern more as well.
